Christopher P. Gelwicks

Chris has been practicing for over 20 years and brings a wide range of experience as a former prosecutor, and defense attorney for insurers and those charged with crimes. He is licensed in North and South Carolina and in Maryland. He focuses his practice on the representation of homeowners and condominium associations in all areas: formation and operation, collections, and litigation. As a member of the Community Associations Institute (CAI), Chris speaks regularly at CAI Law Day and annual conferences. He has appeared on WSOC and WCNC as an expert in community association law, and has been published on Common Ground Magazine, a CAI publication.

Lawrence (Larry) J. SHAHEEN, JR.

Larry Shaheen, Jr. has worked in politics, property, and development his entire life. From 2012 to 2018 Larry served as Chief of Staff to NC State Senator Jeff Tarte. In 2013 Larry helped work on the bill passed by Senator Tarte to fix the flawed 2011 revaluation in Mecklenburg County. Practicing law since 2013, Larry comes from a family business background developing and managing commercial property all across the Southeast, where he has served as General Counsel with his family firm since his admission. Now Larry's expanded practice will include the same level of personal service to residential and commercial property clients faced with property tax revaluations. Having helped develop , manage, and sell more than a million square feet of office, industrial, and commercial space, Larry is the perfect advocate for your commercial and residential business.
